This young Brooklynite and Vitillago warrior has—believe it or not—named the very skin condition that causes here to loose her skin's melanin, as the main catalyst in finding herself and her purpose. Instead of it holding her back from opportunities, it pushed Carlene through the many barriers of conventional beauty. It is her motivation to pursue anything within or without her immediate reach. She's been gracing the runway since the age of 17 and doesn't plan on letting her skills go to waste.
