MATTHIAS

As striking as he looks, Matthias never imagined himself being in front of a camera. He purposely avoided cameras and photos for the majority of his life. Growing up in an academically focused household, most of Matthias’s time and energy was spent reading or studying, while artistic interests were suppressed. Matthias pursued a biology degree at university and further continued his education to obtain a masters in Healthcare Management with a concentration in patient safety and quality management. Since working at an acute care hospital at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, his once suppressed artistic interests have been encouraged and nurtured, allowing for him to explore a lens outside of those used one a microscope. Matthias looks forward to embarking on this journey and is excited to grow, build greater confidence, and inspire people to never stop discovering yourself.
